Your Data Protection Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have several rights regarding your personal data. This page explains these rights and how to exercise them with Employ Wizard Ltd.

The Right of Access

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal data, and if so, request access to that data. This is commonly known as a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR).

The Right to Rectification

You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.

The Right to Erasure

You may request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

The Right to Restriction

You can request limitation of processing of your personal data in certain situations, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data.

The Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller.

The Right to Object

You can object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.

You have the right to contest automated decisions made about you and request human review of such decisions.

How to Exercise Your Rights

If You Are a Candidate

If you are a candidate whose CV has been uploaded to our platform by a recruiter, please contact the recruiter directly as they are the data controller for your candidate data. Employ Wizard Ltd processes candidate data on behalf of recruiters and cannot respond directly to candidate requests, but we support recruiters in fulfilling them.

What to Include in Your Request

To help us process your request efficiently, please include:

• Your full name and contact details
• Details of the specific right(s) you wish to exercise
• Any relevant account or reference information
• If requesting access to data, specify the type of data you're interested in

Our Response Process

• We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days
• We will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt
• For complex requests, we may extend this to 60 days, and we will notify you if this applies
• Data exports will be provided in CSV or JSON format for easy use
• We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests

Complaints
